1 Samuel 29:8

SV	Toen zeide David tot Achis: Maar wat heb ik gedaan? Of wat hebt gij in uw knecht gevonden, van dien dag af, dat ik voor uw aangezicht geweest ben, tot dezen dag toe, dat ik niet zal gaan en strijden tegen de vijanden van mijn heer, den koning?
WLC	וַיֹּ֨אמֶר דָּוִ֜ד אֶל־אָכִ֗ישׁ כִּ֣י מֶ֤ה עָשִׂ֙יתִי֙ וּמַה־מָּצָ֣אתָ בְעַבְדְּךָ֔ מִיֹּום֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָיִ֣יתִי לְפָנֶ֔יךָ עַ֖ד הַיֹּ֣ום הַזֶּ֑ה כִּ֣י לֹ֤א אָבֹוא֙ וְנִלְחַ֔מְתִּי בְּאֹיְבֵ֖י אֲדֹנִ֥י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
Trans.	wayyō’mer dāwiḏ ’el-’āḵîš kî meh ‘āśîṯî ûmah-mmāṣā’ṯā ḇə‘aḇədəḵā mîywōm ’ăšer hāyîṯî ləfāneyḵā ‘aḏ hayywōm hazzeh kî lō’ ’āḇwō’ wəniləḥamətî bə’ōyəḇê ’ăḏōnî hammeleḵə:

AC	ח ויאמר דוד אל אכיש כי מה עשיתי ומה מצאת בעבדך מיום אשר הייתי לפניך עד היום הזה כי לא אבוא ונלחמתי באיבי אדני המלך
ASV	And David said unto Achish, But what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant so long as I have been before thee unto this day, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?
BE	And David said to Achish, But what have I done? what have you seen in your servant while I have been with you till this day, that I may not go and take up arms against those who are now making war on my lord the king?
Darby	And David said to Achish, But what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant so long as I have been with thee to this day, that I should not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?
ELB05	Und David sprach zu Achis: Aber was habe ich getan, und was hast du an diesem Knechte gefunden von dem Tage an, da ich vor dir gewesen bin bis auf diesen Tag, daß ich nicht kommen und wider die Feinde meines Herrn, des Königs, streiten soll?
LSG	David dit à Akisch: Mais qu'ai-je fait, et qu'as-tu trouvé en ton serviteur depuis que je suis auprès de toi jusqu'à ce jour, pour que je n'aille pas combattre les ennemis de mon seigneur le roi?
Sch	David aber sprach: Was habe ich denn getan, und was hast du an deinem Knechte gefunden seit der Zeit, da ich vor dir gewesen bin, bis auf diesen Tag, daß ich nicht kommen und wider die Feinde meines Herrn, des Königs, streiten soll?
Web	And David said to Achish, But what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant, so long as I have been with thee to this day, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king.
